Infynita is a new company with a heritage. It all began in 1999 with the idea of creating a speech interface to help the disabled access the internet using voice as a user interface. As with startups, we encountered stumbling blocks at every turn - and some were thrown our way.

We were in place for our services by end of 2000 and had an opportunity to deploy our first solution at a government agency in New York, which was to lead us to many more contracts. Originally, a multi-agency meeting was set for September 11 th , 2001 at 9.00 AM (within a few hundred yards of World Trade Center), only to be pushed back to September 13 th . Naturally, that meeting never took place.

In the gloom following 9/11, we took time to take stock and took steps that make for what we are today.
