DPA champions the cause of the disabled in South East Asia. It is headed by Mr. Dudley; a vibrant and blind tireless personality. DPA has been around for many years and is associated with leading disabled organizations in SE Asia and the rest of the world. |

| The Given
|
|
| Given that its website is an important resource for the disabled, it has grown over the years and was dreadful to manage and update. Further, the website was not designed with Accessibility principles in place. |

| DPA also runs workshops for the disabled, and is creating CAVE - a 3-D virtual environment at their office. Since it is not possible for the disabled to travel extensively to test equipment prior to purchase, the disabled can test equipment (such as wheel chairs, etc) in the 3-D haptic environment that CAVE is planned to be. |

| Like most goodwill organizations, DPA is funded by private donors and occasional programs are government funded. DPA had no funding to devote to the revamp of its 4,000 odd page website. |

| The Approach |

| At our first meeting with Mr. Dudley, we agreed to redo the website and enhance it with our speech enabling technology. |
| |
| The website was planned for a revamp with the aim of achieving W3C's AAA Compliance. All sections were realigned, content refreshed and the new AAA compliant website was produced in an effort of about 20-man months. |

| The website has also been provisioned to provide a web interface for CAVE, although no haptic provisions were made for. Users will be able to take a virtual walkthrough with the equipment in a virtual home that will be created. |
